The personal data that you have provided to us in connection with complaints and enquiries via the Complaints Channel will be collected with the commitment to treat them as strictly confidential. This personal data will be processed for legitimate and specific purposes in relation to the investigation or management that may arise as a result of the complaint, irregularities and with the aim of providing answers, as well as defining the responsibilities that, where appropriate, may arise from the reported facts.
Likewise, this data will not be used for incompatible purposes and will be appropriate and not excessive in relation to the aforementioned purposes.
How long will we keep your data?
The data will be kept for the minimum time necessary to satisfy the purpose for which it was provided, as well as to meet the responsibilities that may arise from the data provided and any other legal requirement. Likewise, they will be kept blocked during the period of prescription of the legal actions derived from the aforementioned request.
The personal data provided through the Whistleblowing Channel Platform will be processed for the time necessary to decide whether to initiate an investigation into the reported facts, i.e. within a maximum period of three months from receipt of the communication, except in cases of particular complexity, in which case it may be extended for a further three months. On the other hand, if it is agreed to initiate the relevant investigation, the said data shall be processed for the entire duration of the investigation (including judicial proceedings, if applicable).
Once the aforementioned period has elapsed without any investigation having been initiated, the data shall be deleted or anonymised, unless there are legal provisions, in order to maintain evidence of the operation of the system and in an anonymised form.
Communications that have not been followed up may be recorded in anonymised form, completely deleting the personal data, without the obligation to block provided for in article 32 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, being applicable.
